Déjà Vu Dementia Centre of Excellence is a revolutionary Dementia care facility located in Ellesmere Port Cheshire.
The centre aims to improve the lives, health and well being of both individuals that suffer with dementia and their carers, The centre also aims to build a specialised dementia care workforce, as well as to raise awareness of dementia in the local community.
The centre caters for up to 16 people at any one period and is in safe surroundings adjacent to the Health and Social Care Academy of Stella Maris Social Enterprise in Little Sutton.
It gives carers the opportunity to have periods of respite at any time of day they choose. It is non-residential but holds sessions every day from 10am-4pm, 6.30-10.30pm and 11pm-7am. The service has been championed around the fact that it offers a 24-hour, 365-day-per-year service aiming to provide the highest quality of respite care, with no other service in the region providing the night service.
